“The Past Remembered and Dismembered: The Politics of History, Memory, and Commemoration” Seminar: September 2016 - April 2017

A 4000-level seminar in the Department of History devoted to the ways that Confederation took shape, was subsequently understood, remembered, critiqued, ignored, and celebrated over the past 150 years. Students will use texts created, in part, from the other initiatives of 150 Canada @ York.
